Meet Dr. Ben Schleeter

Hi, I am Dr. Ben Schleeter. I have had a passion for adjusting the spine for more than a decade. I grew up in East Moline, Illinois just across the river from Palmer College of Chiropractic where Chiropractic first began. I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor since childhood. Growing up, I played many sports including football, wrestling and rugby. While attending Palmer College of Chiropractic I worked as an intern in the office of my professor and mentor, Dr. Rick Burns. During this time, I developed a passion for the specific chiropractic technique known as Gonstead.

Upon graduation from Palmer in 2011, I moved to the country of Peru to practice the art of chiropractic. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life and helped me to speak Spanish fluently. I was a pioneer of chiropractic introducing it to many around the country who had never heard of this great healing art. While in Peru I met my wife, Jessica. We have two children, Emily, and James.

In 2017 I returned to the United States with my family and joined Payne Chiropractic Wellness Center. I continue to practice Gonstead Chiropractic technique while serving the great community of Destin, Florida. My family loves the Destin area and when I am is not in the office you can find me outside enjoying the beach, gardening, or spending time with my family.
